“‘Reichenbach’ is a concisely crafted peaktime track. Its metallic, urgent drive builds up a lot of tension leading up to an inevitable, massive climax. This definitely is excessive maximal techno. Its sheer precision and power will leave dancefloors breathless. In direct comparison, young producer Andre Gansebohm alias Ndru’s track is more relaxed. With a duration of more than 11 minutes, it is not only the longest track ever released by Liebe*Detail so far, but it is also the one with the strongest narrative concept beyond the usual tales of the dancefloor. Ndru develops the story of a pony named Clipklop working as a cashier in a supermarket. Most of the track’s sounds consist of field recordings, Ndru actually collected in supermarkets. Stylistically, the track sticks to minimal as well as clicks’n'cuts traditions, but Ndru manages to balance the genres’ artificiality by adding warm, low key harmonies.”
